Youlanda Burton was born on Monday, January 20, 1969 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Fred Jones, Sr. and Carrie Marianna Keys.  She departed this life on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 55 years and 3 days.  Youlanda was a homemaker.  She confessed in Christ at an early age and was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith.

Youlanda was united in marriage to Bobby Burton on March 9, 1994 in Piggott, Arkansas.  He survives.

Other survivors include:  her mother, Carrie Keys of Malden; daughter, Aliyah Burton of Malden; two sons, Marcus Burton of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kendall Burton of Springfield, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Marcus Burton, Jr., Kendarien Burton, Zahair Burton, Aa-Briyah Burton, Kriysten Burton, Sky Burton, Ky-ran Burton, and Royal Burton; four sisters, Janice Gray (Ernest) of Boston, MA, Priscilla Brown of Topeka, Kansas, Angeline Jones (Gary), and Jerrilynn J. Dockery (Randy) all of Malden; three brothers, Orlando Jones of Springfield, Missouri, Fred Jones, Jr. (Sheila) of Memphis, Tennessee, and Floyd Ray Jones of Sikeston, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Jones, Sr.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024 beginning at 12:00 PM until service time at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM in the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Reverend Leotis Aikens officiating.  Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.  Landess Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements
