Woodrow Leonard Farr passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 at Ridgeview Living Community in Malden at the age of 86 years, 1 month, and 20 days.

Woodrow Leonard Farr was born Wednesday, February 24, 1937 in Phil Campbell, Alabama to Woodrow Wilson Farr and Elizabeth Connell Farr.  He was a United States Army veteran and a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Malden.  He retired as a telephone equipment installer.

On September 10, 2014, he was united in marriage to Linda Marie Farr.  She survives of the home in Malden.

Other survivors include:  Sister, Sharon Telker of Gideon; Brother, Perry Farr of Oklahoma City, OK; and cousin, Tommy Hinson of Malden.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden.  A graveside memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Aulden LeBlanc officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery
