Wilma Lou Ezell, age 83, a resident of Jasper passed away on May 28, 2021 at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center in Jasper, FL.
Wilma was born on September 16, 1937 to the late Elton James Sale and Alverta Summers Sale. She was a native and longtime resident of Campbell, Missouri. After moving to Florida with her husband Gary and children in 1963, she worked in the banking industry until 2002, when the love of grandchildren brought them to Jasper, FL to enjoy their retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gary Lynn Ezell; her sons and their wives, Randy and Penny Ezell of Orlando, FL and Michael "Mickey" and Rebecca Ezell of Loxahatchee, FL; a daughter and her husband, Cheryl and James K. Speece of Hahira, GA; a sister, Peggy Waltrip of Swartz Creek, MI; seven grandchildren Summer Pridgen (Josh), Brittany Bennett (Jason), James K. Speece II (Allison), Jenna Overman (Matthew), Jacob M. Speece, David Breton and Heather O'Donnell; eight great grandchildren, Taylor, Easton, Rylin, Blakely, Adalynn, Elijah, Averly and Josephine.
The family will be accepting visitors on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at New Hope Baptist Church located at 6592 NW 48th St., Jennings, FL at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m.
Graveside service will be at 11: a.m., Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri. Burial will immediately follow.
Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
