Piggott ~ Willie Dale Arnold, 78 of Piggott, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at his residence in Piggott, Arkansas.

Willie, son of Ruth Ann Hopkins Arnold, was born on Friday, April 7, 1944 in Qulin, Missouri.

He was a retired carpenter having worked for Brown and Root Company in Texas and a member of the Fagus General Baptist Church.  He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War.

On June 29, 1974, in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Donna Grooms.  She preceded him in death on July 28, 2012.

His survivors include one son, Larry Arnold and wife, Amy of Mansfield, Missouri; two daughters, Halee Arnold of Piggott, Mercedes Lowe of Paragould; four grandchildren, Delilah Arnold and Sydney Arnold both of Mansfield, Levi Williams and Oliver Lowe both of Paragould and one brother, Carl Arnold of Poplar Bluff.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Arnold, Bobby Gene Arnold, Carroll Arnold; two sisters, Lenora Richardson and Iva Black.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
