William Dalton Spitzer son of the late Frank Albert Spitzer & Lena Belle Downs Spitzer was born on August 16, 1938 in Keiser, Arkansas.  He passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at his residence in Bernie, Missouri.

William Dalton Spitzer was a self employed insurance agent. He served in the U S Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.  On May 7, 1959 he was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Wood in Bernie, Missouri. She survives of the home.

His other survivors include:  Sons: Scott Spitzer &  Jackie of Bernie and Kevin Spitzer & wife, Lisa of Malden. Grandchildren: Justin Spitzer, B. J. Spitzer, Chris Spitzer, Natalie Zimmerman, Lari Jean Spitzer, Shianne Spitzer & Mica Spitzer. 8 Great-grandchildren. Sister: Jo Ann Robinson of El Cajon, California. Brother: Wayne Spitzer of Camarillo, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son: Bradley Spitzer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 12-2 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home chapel in Malden.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Reverend James Hamlett officiating.

Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
