Malden ~ William (Buddy) Rush, 86 of Malden, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Buddy, son of Ralph Charles and Martha Josephine Earnheart Rush, was born on Wednesday, December 11, 1935 in Leachville, Arkansas.

He was a Retired Veteran, after 21 years, having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church.

On March 26, 1955 in Malden, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Imogene Thompson. She survives.

Other survivors include four sons, William Douglas Rush and wife, Teresa of Cypress, Texas, Ronald David Rush and wife, Lori of Texarkana, Texas, Gregory Steven Rush and wife, Rosanne of Tampa, Florida, Robert Michael Rush of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one sister, Arbridella Little of Malden.

He was preceded by his parents; one grandson and one sister, Melonese Puckett.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM, Thursday May 19, 2022 at Landess Funeral Home, Inc. in Malden.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, in the funeral home chapel, Thursday, May 19, 2022 with Rev. James Hamlett officiating.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
