Malden ~ William Glen Eaker, 79 of Malden, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Arkansas.

Bill, son of Glen Washington and Pauline Malin Eaker, was born of Friday, December 12, 1941 in Malden, Missouri.

He was the owner of Eaker Candy Company, later the owner of BJ's Quick Mart in Bernie and then retired as manager of Town and Country Supermarket in Kennett.

On January 5, 1963 in Tallapoosa, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Carter.  She preceded him in death on March 27, 1986.

His survivors include one son, Ron Eaker and wife, Cheryl of Paris, Tennessee; step-son, Randy McGill and wife, Deanna of Sikeston; eight grandchildren, Spenser Eaker and wife, Abby of Erin, Tennessee, Kaitlin Eaker of Henry, Tennessee, Shawna Kersey of Memphis, Tennessee, Tyler Hardin of Bernie, Brady Bumpus of Paris, Tennessee, Cody Bumpus and wife, Kelly of Willington, North Carolina, Addie McGill and Austin McGill both of Sikeston; three great-grandchildren, Oliver Eaker, Eden Bumpus and Lexi Kersey; one sister, Diane Morgan of Cummings, Georgia and special friend, Alma Morgan of Campbell.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Eaker; two daughters, Donna Eaker, Tina Eaker and step-daughter, Kim McGill.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden with services beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Billy Vanderbilt officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
