Campbell – William "Bill" Edward Alexander, 99 of Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at NHC Healthcare in Kennett, Missouri.

Bill, son of Melvin and Cora Blankenship Alexander, was born on Thursday, November 12, 1925 in Dixon, Missouri.

He was a farmer and a member of the Beechwell General Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United State Army.

On July 17, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Laverda G. Edmundson.  She preceded him in death on April 6, 2017.

His survivors include son, David William Alexander of Campbell; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister Donna Sisk of Blue Springs, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Merle Alexander and Junior Alexander.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Beechwell General Baptist Church in Campbell, with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. with Reverend Gary Long and Reverend James Plymale officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
