Verna Deen Bryant was born on November 2, 1940 in Risco, Missouri to the late Albert Deen & Nomree Veatch Deen. She departed this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Winchester Nursing Center in Bernie at the age of 78.

Verna was a homemaker and was of the General Baptist faith. She was first united in marriage to Glen Ray. She later was united in marriage to Robert Bryant on August 13, 1977 in Malden. He survives of the home.

2 Daughters: Jan Jackson & husband, Mark of Malden & Pam Owens & husband, Monty
Son: Wade Ray & fiancee, Sarah Rice Reed of Mesquite, Texas.
Grandchildren: Summer Davis & husband, Trey, Amanda Thomas & husband, Jeremi, Fawn Manes, Faith Owens, Dawson Owens, Nichole Jackson & Ben Jackson
14 Great-grandchildren
4 Sisters: Judy Johnson, Sondra Hickson, Linda Porter & Sheila Ray.

She was preceded in death by her parents & 2 brothers: Ronnie Deen & Larry Deen

Visitation will be held Thursday June 13, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Hamlett officiating.

Internment will be in Elder Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.
