Malden ~ Thomas Schoemehl 70 of Lake St. Louis, passed away on Monday, May 27 at St. Joseph Hospital-West in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.

Thomas, son of Victor and Bernice Antoon Schoemehl, was born on Thursday, June 24, 1948 in Richmond Heights, Missouri.

He worked in Finance with Visa, was of the Catholic Faith and was a Veteran of the United States National Guard.

On May 29, 1997, in Kissimmee, Florida, he was united in marriage to Helen Arnold Rascher.  She preceded him in death on April 23, 2010.

His survivors include two sons, Tommy Schoemehl and wife, Amy of Malden, John Schoemehl and wife, Jeri of Columbia, Missouri; one daughter, Sarah Shoemaker and husband, Benjamin of Dexter; one step-Son, Ryan Rascher and wife, Heather of Dexter; grandchildren, Piper Schoemehl, Parker and Case McCormick, Jonas Shoemaker, Sophia Shoemaker, Madelynn Schoemehl, Lauren Rascher and Sawyer Rascher; one sister, Mary Clark of St. Louis and one brother, Tony Schoemehl and wife, Libby of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Schoemehl.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden with memorial services beginning at 3 p.m. with Reverend Bob Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Malden.
