Thomas "Slick" Miller was born on November 28,1929 in Holcomb, Missouri to the late William Bryant Miller and Edna Lucille Bagby Miller.  He departed this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Malden Nursing Center in Malden, Missouri at the age of 89 years 9 month and 12 days.

Thomas "Slick" Miller was a manager for the Bunge Elevator Company.  He served in the U S Army from 1948-1952 and was the oldest living member of the American Legion in Malden having served 60 plus years in many positions including being the president. He was of the Baptist faith. On January 18, 1975 in Malden, Missouri he was united in marriage to Jayne Cagle. She survives of the home.

His other survivors include:

Daughter: Sherry Chambers & husband, Mike of Malden. 4 Grandchildren: Amber Chambers of Malden, Whitney Johns of Seminole, Florida, Tori Chambers of Malden and Trevor Chambers of Malden. 7 Great-grandchildren: Braison, Kannon, Tatum, Jaycee, Trenton, Colsen & Shiloh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 12-1 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 1 with Mr. Randy Moore officiating.

A private burial will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
