Malden ~ TG Moncrief, 83 of Malden, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at his residence in Malden, Missouri.

TG, son of Ernest and Irene Houston Moncrief, was born on Friday, September 2, 1938 in Newton, Mississippi.

He retired from Noranda.

On December 11, 1961 in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Kerlene Moncrief.  She preceded him in death on April 10, 2020.

His survivors include three children; Michael Moncrief of Memphis; Vanessa Moncrief and Vanita Moncrief, both of Malden;  nine grand-children; Kendrick Kirkwood of Malden, Dr. Najah (Floyd) Robinson-Moss of Denton, Texas,  Karletta Moncrief of Columbia, Missouri, Devan Moncrief of Los Angeles, California; Quentasha Moncrief of Malden, Richard (Heidi) Marks of Roach, Danitra Moncrief of Malden, Dwantica Moncrief of Aspen, Colorado and Michael Nathaniel Moncrief of Memphis; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters,  Earnestine Benford of Newton, Mississippi, Laureen (Pete) Chapman of Malden, Mary McBride of Essex; one brother, John Henry Moncrief of Malden; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Robinson of Denton, TX and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two children, Nathaniel and a baby girl and grandson, Dealmour L. Moncrief.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
