Clarkton ~ Terry Franklin Schatz, 60 of Clarkton, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his residence in Clarkton, Missouri.

Terry, son of Ira Henry Crawford Schatz and June Elizabeth Farris Schatz, was born on Wednesday, July 11, 1962 in Malden, Missouri.

He was a retired truck driver; was of the Baptist faith and was a volunteer firefighter for the Clarkton Fire Department.

On July 10, 1993 in Clarkton, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Liz" Houltzhouser. She survives.

Other survivors include one son, Joshua Schatz of Clarkton; one sister, Vicky Dordon of Poplar Bluff; three nieces, Agnes Schatz-Drewery (Matt) of Campbell, Lakota Matney and Skyla Matney both of Clarkton; nine nephews, Michael Schatz of Dexter, Shawn Vantrease (Kristie) of Poplar Bluff, Jamie Schatz (Susan) of Dexter, T. J. Schatz (Danette) of Campbell, Yuri Stroup, James Stroup, Tyler Tipton, Ivle "Lee" Matney and Allen Matney all of Clarkton; eight great-nieces; eight great-nephew; six great-great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Junior and Agnes Paul Farris; and one brother, Teddy Joe Schatz, Sr.

Visitation will begin 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, with funeral service will beginning at 2 p.m., with Reverend Tim Dzindzio and Reverend Tony Allen officiating.  Burial will follow in Rosewood 1 ^st Addition Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
