Campbell – Terry James Clayton, 57 of Campbell, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Terry, son of James Leonard and Phyllis Gould Clayton, was born on Sunday, August 28, 1960 in Dunklin County, Missouri.

On June 25, 1980, in Edinburg, Texas, he was united in marriage to Sherry Sue Thacker.  She survives.

He was a Truck Driver and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Campbell.  He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

His survivors include one son, Brandon Clayton and wife, Brandy of Gideon; one daughter, Brandy Brown of Campbell; eight grandchildren, Megan Nicole Needham, Kadyn Shay Clayton, Kody David Magouirk and Kayleigh Mackenzie-Lynn Magouirk of Campbell; Breanne Lee Musgraves of Piggott; Emili Clayton, Sahra Clayton and Aimee Clayton all of Gideon and one great-granddaughter, Addison Journey Needham of Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Brenda McKenzie.

Visitation will be from 1 - 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with memorial services beginning at 2 p.m., with Reverend George Needham officiating.
