Sue Ellen Shaw, 73 of Malden, Missouri, was born on May 26, 1945 to Beulah Fulkerson Eaton and the late Warren Eaton in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She departed this life on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her residence in Malden.

Sue had been an Elementary School Teacher and a Junior High School Counselor for the Malden School System. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Malden where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of the quilting guild. Sue loved to sew and do quilting . On March 30, 1962 in Bloomfield, Missouri she was united in marriage to Michael W. Shaw. He survives of the home in Malden.

4 Grandchildren: Marshal Shaw & wife, Jessica of Shiloh, Illinois, Tyler Shaw & wife, Cassie of St. Louis, Missouri, Jessica Ellen Hartsfield of Malden, Missouri and Lacey Winchester & husband, Tommy of Malden, Missouri.
4 Great-grandchildren: Norah Sue Shaw, Cymber Arnold, Camille, Bree & Isaac Winchester.
Mother: Beulah Eaton of Bloomfield, Missouri.
Sisters: Nancy Croom & husband, Dow of Dexter, Missouri and Becky Hall of Bloomfield, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her father: Warren Eaton..


Visitation will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church in Malden.  The funeral service will be there at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 with Reverend Aulden LeBlanc officiating.  Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Malden.
