Steven Douglas Wheeler, son of the late Cornelia Frances Mondy Wheeler and J. Frank Wheeler, was born on Wednesday, January 9, 1952 in Jackson County, Tennessee. He departed this life on Monday, June 8, 2026 at his residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 74 years, 4 months, and 3o days. Steven was an apartment complex maintenance supervisor and was of the Protestant faith.

His survivors include: wife, Tina Wheeler of Malden; daughter, Jennifer Reyes of Nashville, TN; brother, Rick Wheeler and wife Debbie of Gainesboro, TN; niece, Rachel Raines and husband Bob of Nashville, TN; great niece, Ellie Raines; step daughter, Catie Jarjour and husband Nicholas of Hartland, WI; step grandchildren, Caroline and Josiah; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one step daughter, Lauren Duckett.

Services will be held at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. in Gainesboro, TN at a later date.
