Steve "Jigsaw" Launer, 65 of Malden, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Steve was born on May 12, 1956 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of the late Frank Harrison Launer, Sr. & Elizabeth Mary Pavey Launer.

Steve "Jigsaw" Launer was a roofer and had served in the U S Navy. Jigsaw volunteered to lead motorcycle escorts for Autism, Toys for Tots, Veteran's funeral services and several charities.

His survivors include: Daughter: Brittany Meppiel & husband, Nickolas of Brandon, FL. 3 Grandchildren: Caitlynn Meppiel, Kendrick Meppiel & Kurtis Meppiel all of Brandon, FL. Fiance':  Diane Robinson of Malden. 1 Sister: Elizabeth Mullins 4 Brothers: Larry Launer, Frank Launer, Bill Launer & Thomas James.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 6-8 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11:30 A.M.

Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
