Malden ~ Steve Keener, 79 of Malden formerly of Los Angeles, California, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at his residence in Malden, Missouri.

Steve, son of DeWayne Wilson and Alice Irene Erickson Keener, was born on Thursday, December 3, 1942 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

He was a Veteran of the United States Marines; Vice President of City National Bank in Los Angeles; Contractor; Actor in Various Mediums; and a member of the West Valley Unity Church in California.

On August 25, 2000, in Northridge, California, he was united in marriage to Jackie Riggs.   She survives.

Other survivors one daughter, Shawn Keener of Memphis, Tennessee; three sisters, Neila Keener and husband Phil Reinhardt of Apache Junction, Arizona, Jennifer Hays and husband Bob Ernest of Colorado, Ingrid Ohanian and husband, Bernard of California; sister-in-law, Judy Cloud; nieces, Lisa Kay Whitehead and husband Darrell, Mechelle Cloud and nephew, Jerrell Dale Cloud all of Malden; and with countless beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends from the Malden area, as well as around the country.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Uncle, Marvin Keener and Aunt, Olive Keener.
