Clarkton ~ Stephen Douglas Nichols, 61 of Clarkton, formerly of Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Stephen, son of Cletis Wayne and Rosemary Johnson Nichols, was born on Thursday, August 8, 1963 in Kennett, Missouri.

He was a farmer and a member of the Whitaker Chapel Church and Sons of American Legion in Campbell;

His survivors include partner, Lori Belcher of Clarkton; son, Quentin Nichols of Piggott; brother, Ron Nichols and wife, Debbie of Marble Hill; sisters, Kathy Cunningham and husband, Gerald and Chris Cochran and husband, Richard all of Campbell; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Missouri.  Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Landess Funeral Chapel with Reverend Randy Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell, Missouri.
