Obituary

Stephen Michael Hoehn, son of the late Russell C. Hoehn and Virginia Baltz Hoehn, was born in Belleville, Illinois on April 13, 1945.  Mr. Hoehn died July 18 at the Ridgeview Center in Malden, Missouri, at the age of 74 following a long battle with Parkinson's.

His survivors include his mother, Virginia B. Hoehn of Bernie, Missouri; one son, Shepherd Troy Hoehn of Indianapolis, Indiana; one daughter, Carman Elizabeth Camp of Memphis, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Madison McKensi Camp; one brother, Jeff Hoehn of Malden, Missouri; one aunt, Shirley Baltz of Millstadt, Illinois; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Mr. Hoehn was an Eagle Scout; a graduate of Malden High School and the University of Arkansas where he played for the Razorbacks from 1963-1968 and received an engineering degree.  He served in the National Guard and achieved status of Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkinson's Research or to the First Christian Church of Malden, Missouri.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the First Christian Church in Malden, Missouri.
