Campbell ~ Sonny Thomason, 77 of Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Sonny, son of Curtis and Addie Belle Shipp Thomason, was born on Wednesday, February 24, 1943 in Bragg City, Missouri.

He worked for Vaughn Oil Company; was a member of the American Legion Post 109 in Campbell; and of the Christian Faith.  He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War.

On April 2, 1966 in Campbell, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Frankie Jane Grant.  She survivors.

His survivors include two sons, Curtis Thomason and Nathan Thomason; one granddaughter, Cali Alexis Thomason all of Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Marjorie Petry Davis, Leola Ham and Helen Ruth Moore.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell with Mr. Randall Baker officiating.  Burial will immediately follow.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
