"Slick" Ricky Kraig Kilgore of Malden, Missouri was born on Thursday, April 23, 1959 in Canalou, Missouri to the late L.T. Cook and Samella Kilgore. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Aspire Health and Rehab in Malden, Missouri at the age of 63 years, 11 months, and 6 days.

He worked at Wallace and Owens for many years and later worked as a truck driver for Williams Moving Co. He was of the Christian faith.

His survivors include: 2 Daughters: Chasity Curtis and husband Jesse of Malden, Mo., Erika Mathies of Springfield, Mo. 1 Son: Mayo Shaw and wife Amber of Springfield, Mo. 3 Honorary Children: Angel Cannon of Sikeston, Mo., Jonas Cannon of Malden, Bryan Cannon of Poplar Bluff, Mo. 11 Grandchildren: Shandronic Shurn, Zaydence Riley, Elyiah Riley, Jada Miller, Cornelius Miller, Jalen Miller, Bryce McBride, Mayo Shaw, Jr., Marius Shaw, Marquise Shaw and Mekhi Shaw. 4 Great-grandchildren: Donterrian Payne, Jamari Miller, Jasyri Miller and Kelani Shaw.

6 Sisters:  Linda Thompson and husband, Julion of Dexter; Iris Reed of Malden; Yvette Hill and husband Hershell of Malden; Yvonne Triplett of Malden; Teresa Boyd of Indianapolis, Indiana and Lavedra Brown of Chicago.

12 Brothers: Barry Kilgore of St. Louis, Mo., Keith Kilgore of Malden, Brad Kilgore and wife Lisa of Columbia, Mo., Dale Kilgore and wife Candice of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Terry Kilgore and wife Tammy of New Madrid, Mo., Danny Kilgore of Malden, Michael Kilgore of Malden, Jimmy Kilgore and wife Brenda of Malden, Christopher Kilgore and wife Ann of Malden, Jackie Cook wife, Rebekah of Evansville, IN., Larry Cook and wife, Sheila of Marian, IN. and Jerry Cook wife, Roberda of Indianapolis, IN. 1 Sister: Minnie Cole of Marion, IN.

He was preceeded in death by parents, one grandchild, Baby G and 2 sisters, Betty Fredrick Brown Mills and Dorothy Cook and 1 brother L.T. Cook, Jr.

Pallbearers: Cornelius Miller, Jalen Miller, Jonas Cannon, Brian Cannon, Nikylas Thompson and Kyrton Kilgore.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Malden Community Center from 1-2 P.M. With funeral services to follow at 2:00 P.M. Minister Jackie Cook will be officiating.

Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
