Campbell ~ Shirley Bentley Clifford, 80 of Campbell, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the General Baptist Nursing Home, in Campbell, Missouri.

Shirley, daughter of Arthur George and Edna Juanita Barfoot Bentley, Sr., was born on Saturday, February 15, 1941 in Gideon, Missouri.

She was a retired caseworker for the State of Missouri Child Support Enforcement Division.  She attended North Arkansas Community College, Arkansas State University and was a member of the Methodist Church in Campbell.

On May 22, 1965 in Gideon, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Patrick Clifford.  He survives.

Other survivors include her daughter, Bentley Utgaard and husband, John of Murray, Kentucky; one grandson, Edward Utgaard of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Barbara Herring of St. Genevieve, Carolyn "Boo" Randolph and husband, Larry of Rogers, Arkansas; two brothers, Larry Bentley and wife, Martha of Batesville, Arkansas, Arthur Bentley, Jr. of West Plains, Missouri; sister-in-law, Ona Bentley of Canadian, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Randall Bentley.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with services beginning at 2 p.m., with Mr. Randall Baker officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
