Kennett ~ Sherry Lynn Oltman, 71 of Kennett, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Daybreak Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

Sherry, daughter of Clois and Murel Taylor Oliver, was born on Friday, October 23, 1953 in Campbell, Missouri.

She worked as a Librarian for 31 years at Senath-Hornersville Middle School and attended the First Baptist Church in Campbell.

On April 1, 1988, in Campbell, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Scott Clark Oltman. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2018.

Her survivors include two sons, Zachary Oltman and wife, Morgan of Union, MO and Alex Oltman and wife, Jenny of Kennett, MO; two grandchildren, Jack Oliver Oltman and Nellie Jane Oltman and cousin, Kevin Oliver and wife, Melody of Texas.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, Missouri, funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Elder Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
