Sharon Jean Telker, of Malden, Missouri was born on Tuesday, June 23, 1942, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Woodrow Wilson Farr and Elizabeth Louise Connell Farr. She departed this life on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Gideon Care Center at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 26 days.

Sharon was a graduate of Arkansas State University where she received a bachelor's degree in business administration. She went on to be a high school educator specializing in business education, accounting and computer applications. Sharon taught high school for 28 years at
Bernie High School where she was the sole sponsor of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Bernie chapter. Sharon spent numerous years working with the Girl Scouts of America and had obtained her Gold Award. Sharon was a lifelong member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Malden.

On May 26, 1967, Sharon Jean Farr was united in marriage to John David Telker in Malden, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 3, 2015.

Also preceding her in death was one brother, Woodrow Leonard Farr.

Her survivors include: son, Brian David Telker and wife Priscella of Wynne, Arkansas; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Mitchem of Solo, Missouri; granddaughter, Sara Caywood, grandson, Chance Mobley; brother Perry Farr and wife Helen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and cousin Tommy
Hinson of Malden.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM Saturday January 25, 2024 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Revered Aulden LeBlanc officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will oversee the arrangements.
