Sharon Margie McElwrath, of Vanduser, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 6 days. She was born on Wednesday, April 25, 1951, in Clay County, Arkansas, to the late John Williams and Margie (McCormick) Williams.

Sharon was united in marriage to Dennis J. McElwrath on June 7, 1969, in Clarkton, Missouri.

She was a devoted homemaker and faithful member of Anchor Baptist Church for the past three years, and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Campbell, MO for over 40 years, where she taught Sunday School and worked in the bus ministry. Sharon was always looking for an opportunity to serve others. She happily gave her time to love and encourage the young men at Anchor Academy for the past 25 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis J. McElwrath of the home; one son, Dennis L. McElwrath of Vanduser, Missouri; one sister, Bernice Pyle of Malden; one brother, Terry Williams of Bunker, MO and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant son, Michael McElwrath; two brothers, Travis and Pete Williams and two sisters, Barbara Hatton and Janet Melton.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Funeral services will be held in the Landess Funeral Home chapel in Campbell at 10 a.m. on March 9, 2026 with Rev. TJ Null officiating. Interment will follow at Piggott City Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas.
