Campbell ~ Scharlene Joyce Tinnon, 79 of Campbell, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Cypress Point Nursing Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Scharlene, daughter of Norvin and Georgiana Lillian Petry McMunn, was born on Sunday, September 10, 1944 in Wilhelmina, Missouri.

She attended the Free Will Baptist Church in Malden.  She worked at school in the cafeteria; Wal-Mart in the Jewely department; farmer and was a housewife.

On February 29, 1964 in East St. Louis, Illinois, she was united in marriage to Orville Gene Tinnon.  He preceded her in death on May 15, 1995.

Her survivors include three sons, Raymond Tinnon and wife, Cheryl of Campbell, Norvin Tinnon and wife, Gena of Dexter, Monte Tinnon and wife, Tabatha of Malden; one daughter, Norma Massey and husband, Jeff of Campbell; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry McMunn of Wilhelmina; three sisters, Cleta Mae Curtner of Wilhelmina, Norma Vickers and Sharon Egbert both of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, with funeral services beginning at 12 noon, with Reverend Monte Tinnon and Reverend Randy Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
