Malden ~ Ruth Holloway of Malden daughter of the late Otis and Ruby Wren Adams, was born in Gideon, Missouri on Friday, July 29, 1938. Mrs. Holloway passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 at Ridgeview Living Community in Malden at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 5 days.

Ruth Holloway was a homemaker and retired from Wal-Mart and was a member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church in Malden. Ruth was united in marriage to Jackie Lee Holloway on October 6, 1955 in Malden, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2020.

Her survivors include sons, Mike & Cindy Holloway of Cape Girardeau, Ricky & Gwen Holloway, Jeremy & Angie Holloway & Chris Holloway all of Malden; daughter, Kathy Holloway of Malden; grandchildren, Jill & Terrell Beasley, Kelsy & Jamie Schmidt, Jessica Holloway & Derek Pearson, Dareth Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Josh & Brandy Holloway, Jake Holloway, Misty Brewer, Tori & Wes Fraley, April Pines, Christopher and Brittany Henfling & Jonathan Henfling; great-grandchildren, Latrez, Drayke, Briella, Ollie, Adler, Mason, Carter, Jace, Carlee, Emma, Harper, Justin, Destiny, Nevaeh, Kennedy, Jo Jo, Ridley & Rafa; two great-great-grandchildren, Brynlee and Addy and  sister, Dorothy Stout of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debra Holloway and sister, Joann Bradshaw.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.  Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Paul Starnes officiating.  Burial will be in Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory will be in charge of arrangements.
