Campbell ~ Ruth Janice Bevel Willard, 82 of Campbell, passed away on Monday May 1, 2019 at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.

Ruth, daughter of Chester Melburne and Lucy Geneva Thornberry Wilson, was born on Tuesday, May 12, 1936 in Clarkton, Missouri.

She retired from Federal Mogul and was of the Baptist faith.

She was first married to James Bevel, he preceded her in death.  She later married Alva L. Willard on January 15, 1968 in Holcomb, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on October 31, 2015.

Her survivors include three daughters, Patty Henderson and Kathy West and husband, Mike all of Campbell, Phyllis Schwartz of Benton, Missouri; three sons, James Bevel (Susan) of Wappapello, William Bevel and Joseph Bevel and wife, Lori all of Campbell; 11 Grandchildren, Kayla Burnham, Stephen Henderson (Brandi), Chris West, Jessica Payne (Chad), Jennifer Middleton, Joey Bevel (Rachel), Macie Grubbs (Derek), Nicholas Bevel, Mason Proffer, Summer Demeyer (Jared) and Tyler Schwartz; 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Jeffrey Bevel; one granddaughter, April Bevel and one grandson, Mark Bevel.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 12 noon, Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, with services beginning at 12 noon with Reverend Darren Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Tucker Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.
