Campbell ~ Rusty Thacker, 60 of Campbell, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Rusty, son of Dianna Sue Head Thacker and Wade Barnes (Step-father), was born on Thursday, February 21, 1963 in Kennett, Missouri.

He was an auto mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.

On February 19, 1993 in Campbell, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Tanoca Dawn Cornman.  She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Taylor Thacker of Poplar Bluff, Haley Cate and husband, Colton of Harviell, MO; three grandchildren, Kye Goins, Jaxson Cate, Waylon Lee Cate; one brother, Kenny Wayne Thacker of Marble Hill, half-sister, Judy Barnes; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dianna Sue Head Thacker; step-father, Wade Barnes; brother, Jackie Ray Thacker and father-in-law, Albert Cornman.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon, Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell, with services beginning at 1 p.m., with Reverend Randy Vaughn officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
