Malden – Ronald Hastings, 61 of Parma, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Ronald, son of J.T. and Elsie Hastings, was born on Saturday, April 7, 1962 in Gideon, Missouri. He was a truck driver and farmer for Mills Farm in Bernie and was of the Christian faith.

His survivors include son, Robert Cunningham of Parma; daughter, Linda Hastings of Sikeston; granddaughter, Ashlei Hastings of Parma; ex-wife, Linda Hastings of Parma; sister, Carol Hufford; four brothers, Harvey Thurman, Bobby Thurman, Moman Thurman and Danny Thurman,  also several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death his parents; two brothers, James Hastings and Jessie Thurman; sister, Ann Ross; daughter in-law, Brandy Cunningham and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Landess Funeral Home in Malden, with funeral services to directly follow at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Braydon Holt officiating.  Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
