Roger Dale Reece, 88 of Chaffee, formerly of Malden, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri.

Roger, son of Victor James and Janet Bertha White Reece, was born on Monday, March 16, 1936 in Malden, Missouri.

Roger was a retired Mechanic, owning Reece and Wiley Automotive for over 30 years. He was also a farmer worked for the Township and was a proud Veteran of the United States Army.

On February 7, 1959, he was united in marriage to Jean Fay Steele in Geneva, Illinois.  She survives in Chaffee.

Other survivors include; three daughters, Teresa Reece Pope of Sikeston, Kathy Reece Hill of Chaffee and Dawn Reece Dooley of Chaffee; son, Roger Dean Reece of Chaffee; four grandchildren, Bryce Baker, Cameron Pope, Casey Castaneda and Sydney McKinley; eight great-grandchildren; five brothers, Paul Reece and wife, Dorothy of Ladysmith, Illinois, James Reece and wife, Helen of Doniphan, Junior Reece and wife, Doris of Bernie, Bobby Reece and wife, Debbie of Bernie and Ronnie Reece of Bernice; sister, Linda Blevins of Ellington; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Lucy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Cody Baker and three sisters, Betty Meadows, Joyce Garrett and Carolyn Reece.

Pallbearers: Ronnie Tracy, Bryce Baker, Cameron Pope, Jim Beaird, Fred Carroll and Josh Mosley.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1 P.M. in Stephens Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri with Don Charles officiating.
