Campbell ~ Roberta (Bert) Darter, 93 of Campbell, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.

Roberta daughter of James Robert and Callie Harp LaFerney was born on Sunday, August 23, 1925 in Conran, Missouri.

Roberta Darter was unified in marriage to Arlon (Skinner) Darter on May 6, 1944 at the Clay County Courthouse in Piggott, Arkansas. Skinner preceded her in death on Bert's Birthday in 1980.

Later in life, Bert had a wonderful daily companion for many years named Lonzo Gulledge. Lonzo preceded her in death on April 11, 2004.

Bert was a member of the First Baptist Church in Campbell and taught Sunday School for 2+ Decades with her friend Edee Boyd. Bert was a Collector of many things and her home was filed with her Treasures collected over her life.

Her survivors include 3 Sons, Jerry (Laura) Darter of Campbell, James (Malinda) Darter of New Madrid, MO, Stanley (Linda) Darter of Waterloo, IL, and Brother Gerald (Mildred) LaFerney of Fort Meade, FL.

She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Charles Darter, Sister Daisy Qualls, and Brother Cecil LaFerney.

Visitation will begin at 1 pm on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, with services beginning at 3 pm with Rev Tony Wood officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
