Obituary

Robert Gene "Bob" Shaw was born on August 5, 1931 in Parma, Missouri to the late David William Shaw & Cecil Leota Lambert Shaw. He was married for 51 years to Sandra Jean Gray Shaw. He departed this life on Thursday January 9, 2020 at his residence in Malden, Missouri at the age of 88 years 5 months and 4 days.

Bob served in the Navy from 1950-1954 during the Korean War. While obtaining his education in Jonesboro, he also served in the National Guard of Arkansas from 1954-1957..  After receiving his Bachelor's degree, he started his career as a teacher in the Malden School system and through many years of different career choices he came back to Missouri and became Superintendent of Risco Schools for 19 years. He also served as Commander of the American Legion Post #293 in Malden.

His children include:

Four Daughters: Stacey Shaw and Raymond Wendt, Stephanie Earnheart and husband Chuck of Malden, Carrie Shaw and Steve Baker of Bartlett, Tennessee and Allison Shaw and Stephanie Kahler of Gulfport, Florida.

Two Sons: Robert ( Bud) Shaw, Jr, and wife Renee of Bryant, Arkansas & Chris Shaw and wife Sheila of Atlanta, Georgia.

12 grandkids: Rocky and Justin Rojas, Ashley Stein, Amy Baker, Casey Carter, Ben Earnheart, Brittany Dunn, C.J, Heath, Noah, Alex Shaw and Amber Demar.

18 Great Grandkids and 1 Great- Great Grandson.

Three Surviving Brothers: David Shaw Jr, of Malden. Floyd Shaw of Parma, and Mike Shaw of Malden.

Brother-in-Law:  Robbie Gray of Risco.

Son-in-law: Raymond Wendt of Malden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, His wife: Sandra, Daughter: Stacey Shaw, Granddaughter: Amber Demar, Sister: Hazel Townsend, Brother: Burl Shaw.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 beginning at 11:30 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1P.M. in the Landess Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenny Burchard and Mr. Phil Santie Officiating. Interment will be in Rosewood Cemetery in Malden Missouri.
