Robert Michael Hicks, 63, of Campbell, Missouri, passed away at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Born October 12, 1962, in Kennett, Missouri, Robert was the son of Bobby Wayne and Marie Neeley Hicks.
Robert worked for Liberty Township of Dexter, operating heavy equipment, and was a faithful member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden. He loved music and enjoyed both playing and teaching music to others. An avid hunter and fisherman, Robert found great joy in the outdoors and treasured the time he spent in nature with family and friends.
On May 13, 2000, in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Karla Green. Together they shared many cherished years of marriage. She survives at their home in Campbell.
Other survivors include his mother, Marie Hicks; son, Chad Hicks and wife, Casey, of Paragould, Arkansas; two daughters, Angel Dockery and husband, Jobe, of White Settlement, Texas, and Destiny Watson and husband, Stephen, of Gould, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Tristan, McKayla, Gavan, Braydan, McKenna, Remington, Trevor, Hailey, Emmie, Ellie and Stephen; two brothers, Kevin Hicks and wife, Sarah, of Campbell and Wayne Hicks of Qulin; two sisters, Robin Featherston and husband, David, of Jackson, Missouri and Kim Clifford and husband, Terry, of Oak Grove, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Wayne Hicks, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Watson.
If there was any one final message Brother Robert Hicks would have wanted to leave with the world it would be… “Obey the gospel.” “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” — Acts 2:38 (KJV)
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2026 at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden with Pastor Leroy Young and Assistant Pastor Andrew Young officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell.
Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
