Robert Lee Ellsworth 83 of Granite City, IL. passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 in Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Robert Lee Ellsworth was born august 11, 1940 in Malden, Missouri the son of the late George E. Ellsworth and Opal V. (Gidcumb) Ellsworth. Robert was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from the Continental Bakery of St. Louis.

On October 27, 1958 in Malden he was united in marriage to Wilma Joy Baker, who preceded him in death on June 18, 1921.

He is survived by two daughters; Dr. Tabitha Robin Ellsworth and Rebecca Brackins (Jose') of Granite City, IL.; two sons Timothy (Lisa) Ellsworth of Florida and David Ellsworth (Tracy) of Fairview Heights, IL.; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Bonnie Akridge of Campbell and one brother, Edmond Ellsworth of Cape Girardeau and many more relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one son, Robert Lee Ellsworth, Jr.; two sisters Clara Mae Little and Evelyn Ellsworth and four brothers; James Ellsworth, Buford Ellsworth, George Ellsworth, and Morris Ellsworth.
