Malden ~ Robert Lee Bryant, 85 of Malden, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Winchester Place in Bernie, Missouri.

Robert, son of Harrison and Stella Prince Bryant, was born on Monday, May 17, 1937 in Center Ridge, Arkansas.

He was the owner of Robert Bryant's Custom Sweeping for years and was a member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church.

On August 13, 1977, in Malden, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Verna Deen.  She preceded him in death on June 11, 2019.

His survivors include two daughters, Pam Owens and husband, Monty of Menifee, California, Jan Jackson and husband, Mark of Malden; one son, Wade Ray and fiancé, Sarah Reed of Mesquite, Texas; five grandchildren, Fawn Mullenix of Poplar Bluff, Faith Owens of San Diego, California, Dawson Owens of Menifee, California; Summer Davis of Bernie, Amanda Thomas of Van, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Aladean Paladino of Conway, Arkansas.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Bryant, one son, Robert Lee Bryant, Jr; one sister, Lorene Treadaway; two brothers, Tom Bryant and Dewey Bryant.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 with Reverend James Hamlett officiating. Burial will follow at Elder Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.
