Malden ~ Ricky Lee Kennedy, 67 of Malden, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Rick, son of Betty Kennedy Calhoun, was born on Tuesday, November 3, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was a long-haul truck driver and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

His survivors include son, Scott Carr of Salem; two daughters, Summer Hunt and husband Josh of Ozark and Kelli Anthony of Bernie; grandchildren, Blakely Bradshaw, Taylor Anthony, Aiden Norden, Tucker Anthony, Tatum Anthony, Eli Hunt and Delaney Hunt; great-grandchild, Parker Childers; brothers, Terry Crews of Kansas City, Tim Crews of Sullivan, Mike Crews of Michigan and Lester Reeves and wife Laura of Park Hills and sister, Barbara Crews of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his mother; step-father, Luther Calhoun and brother, Dennis Crews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
