Cape Girardeau ~ Rick Doughten of Cape Girardeau, 66, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Rick, son of Guy and Rena Patterson Doughten, was born on Wednesday, August 29, 1951 in Holcomb, Missouri.

He was a Veteran and owned his own business.

On September 4, 1970 in Kennett, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Kathy Page.  She survives.

Other survivors include one son, Rick Doughten, Jr. of Cape Girardeau; daughter-in-law, Michelle Doughten of Jackson; two grandchildren, Dallas Doughten of Cape Girardeau and Chandler Doughten of Jackson; four sisters, Lola Coleman (Norm) of Maryland Heights, Hattie Rainey (Rance) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Carolyn Foster (Glen) of Holcomb, Marilyn Tessaro (Allen) of Sparksburg, South Carolina; three brothers, Thomas Doughten of Mesquite, Texas, Marvin Doughten (Debbie) of Kennett and Billy Doughten (Betty) of Paragould; aunt, Doris Doughten of Chesapeake, Virginia; sisters-in-law, Mary Doughten and Sue Page both of Kennett; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Larry Doughten, Guy "Sonny" Doughten, Jr. and William "Cobb" Doughten.

A memorial services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
