Malden - "Racin" Randy Lee Peck, 68 of Malden, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Randy, son of Bill and Lawana Faye Geno Blevins Peck, was born on Friday, January 14, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He worked at many places in Malden, including Wal-Mart, Pizza Hut and Wal-Greens, where he recently retired from. Randy was a racing enthusiast and had a passion for vintage cars.  He is a 1973 graduate of Malden High School and was also a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden.

He is survived by a son, Steven Peck and wife, Ashley of Fernandina Beach, FL; daughter, Andrea Thompson and husband, Mike of Piggott, AR; seven grandchildren, Kell Peck, Embree Peck, Landen Thompson, Grayson Peck, Chasen Thompson, Zander Peck and Ansley Thompson; brother, Toby Geno and wife, Emilie of Malden; two sisters, Sherry Blaylock and husband, Danny of Malden and Julie Flowers and husband, Mike of Gardner, KS; special friend, Gladys Davis Sinks of Gassville, AR and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Peck

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 6-8 PM at Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 11 AM at Landmark Pentecostal Church with Pastor Steven Peck and Pastor Leroy Young officiating.  Interment will be in Dexter City Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
