Campbell ~ Phillip Burl Parson, 91 of Gibson, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.

Phillip, son of Troy Van and Rosie Lee Bird Parsons, was born on Thursday, February 14, 1929 in Gibson, Missouri.

He retired from Emerson Electric.

On August 16, 1958 in Castroville, California, he was united in marriage to Florence Chulata.  She preceded him in death on June 13, 1991.

His survivors include daughter, Deb Perkins and husband, Bruce of Spring Hill, Florida; grandson, Brett Perkins and wife, Kristin of Land O'Lakes, Florida; great-grandchildren, Grayson Perkins and Presley Perkins; nephews, Joey Parsons and wife, Bobette of Gibson and Kirk Parsons of Kennett.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Troy Parsons.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 am. on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with memorial services beginning at 11 a.m., at the funeral chapel with Mr. Randall Baker officiating. Burial will follow in North Canaan Cemetery in Gibson.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
