Poplar Bluff ~ Peggy Lee Connell, 79 of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Westwood Hills Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff Missouri.

Peggy, daughter of John and Arlene Lepp Romero, was born on Wednesday, June 13, 1945 in San Bernardino, California.

She was a Caretaker with Home Health.

Her survivors include daughter, Cheri Samples and husband, Marty of Campbell; sons, John Spurlock and wife, Ticima of Mineral Wells, Texas, Christopher DuChene and wife, Dana of Olympia, Washington; grandchildren, Kristen Middleton and husband, Michael of Dexter, Tristan Smith and Skylar Smith both of Texas, Andrew Jenkins and wife, Melissa and Taryn Armengol all of Washington; five great-grandchildren, Austin, Kamen, Matthew, Evelyn and Kane; several nieces and nephews; sisters, Carol, Shirley, Terria and Gina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Charissa Samples; brother, John Jr. (Rocky) and sister, Barbara.

There will be a private service at a later date.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
