Obituary

Paula Skaggs, 67 of Dexter, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Paula Skaggs, daughter of the late Melvin and Sarah Hopkins Redden, was born on January 23, 1954 in Gideon, Missouri.

Paula was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Her survivors include, three daughters, LaDonna Noble and husband, Billy of Campbell, Stephanie Acup and husband, Nick of Malden and Toni Burdine and husband, Chris of Dexter; son, Larry Faulkner and wife, Sherry of Sikeston; 12 grandchildren, Chris Faulkner, Seren Faulkner, Jonathan Faulkner, James McCain III, Christa Bixler, Callie Acup, Claire Acup, Cheyenne Burdine, Billie Joe Craft, Micah Lane, Isaiah Lane and Willow Lane; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Jeanette Redden of Desoto, Missouri and Tammy Lingle and husband Terry of Benton, Missouri; three brothers, Terry Redden and wife, Dora of Clarkton, Tracey Redden and wife, Melissa of Malden and Larry Redden and wife Julie of Sikeston and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, Jeramy Redden and Terry Daniel Meadors.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Stewart-Allen Clark officiating.

Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton

Landess Funeral Home of Malden will be in charge of the arrangements.
