Patsy "Pat" Jean Gales, 89 of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at her residence in St. Louis, Missouri.

Patsy, daughter of Fred and Opal Provance Brandon, was born on Sunday, March 17, 1935 in Malden, Missouri.

Pat was a hard worker, in her early years, she was a cotton picker/chopper until her marriage to Mr. Gales. After marriage she was a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Gales grew up in Baptist churches and was saved in 1983. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

On December 31, 1960, she was united in marriage to Willard Freeman Gales. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2012.

Her survivors include, two daughters, Joyce M. Gales and Melissa R. Byrne both of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Katherine Severtsen, Samantha J. Gales, Danny Byrne, Spencer Byrne, Zach Spencer and Dylan Gales, all of St. Louis; two great-grandchildren, Emma Rose Severtsen and Hannah Jane Severtsen.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Prima "Donna" Head, Billy Brandon, Freddie Paul Brandon, Bobby Herold Brandon, Wanda Irene Carter, James Auzy Brandon, Elvis "Lloyd" Brandon, Glenda Sue Court and Sharon Kay Nash.

Visitation will begin at 12 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Missouri, with funeral service beginning at 1 p.m., with Reverend Aulden LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow at Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
