Ona Grace Morris, 84 a lifetime resident of Malden, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Ona Grace was born on December 4, 1936 in Hamilton, Alabama, daughter of the late John Dalton Miller & Zelma Williams Miller.

Ona Grace served many years as a member of the women's Auxiliary with the American Legion. She worked as a seamstress at Gossard until their closure. Ona then served as a restaurant manager at a restaurant located at the American Legion in Campbell. She loved flower gardening, her family, friends and her community.

Her survivors include: Children: Rochelle Moylan of Malden, Judy Farris of Malden and Craig Morris & wife, Janet of Malden. Sisters: Mae Hooks of Lake Village, IN. & Hazel Woodall of Austin, Texas. Grandchildren: Nicole Brown & husband, Shannon of Rockwall, Texas, Joseph Morris of Elsinore, Zach Morris & wife, Ashton of Malden, Travis Morris & wife, Erica of Dexter and William Morris & wife, Megan of Gibson. Great-grandchildren: Justin Cobb, Tessa Brown, Sophie Williams, Jackson Williams, Jameson Aguilar & Jessa Cobb. Longtime friend: Trevor Roberts.

Ona was preceded in death by her parents: Zelma & J. D. Miller, brothers: Joe Miller & Norman Miller, sisters: Wonette Gibson & Marie Wright, sons: Dennis Morris & Joey Morris and grandsons: Chris Schafer & Jesse David Morris.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden from 6-8 P.M.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Reverend Danny Hooks officiating.

Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
