Nova Mays, 92, of Parma was born on August 5, 1926 in Hagarville, Arkansas to the late Elmer Eugene Morris & Pearl Allison Morris. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Nova Mays was a homemaker and was a member of the Malden Church of Christ. She was united in marriage to Carl Edward Mays on November 24, 1944 in Anniston, Alabama. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2011.

Her survivors include:
Sons: Jerry Mays & wife, Sharon of Parma, Missouri and Harold Mays of Campbell.
Daughter: Patty Stratman & husband, Scott of Malden.
3 Grandchildren: Joshua Daniel Mays of Belton, Missouri, Bryan Mays & wife Betsy of Poplar Bluff and Stacy Sutton of Dexter.
6 Great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Mr. James Powell officiating.

Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
