Newberry Cecil, 84 of Campbell, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at his residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Newberry, son of Willie Louis and Bertie Delphie DePriest Cecil, was born on Sunday, January 31, 1937 in Steele, Missouri.

He worked for Emerson Electric and was a member of the Crosspointe Family Church in Campbell.

His survivors include six children, Allen Cecil of Ocoee, Florida, Karen Frederick and husband, Timmy of Campbell, Donna Martin and husband, Mike of Campbell, Jimmie Cecil and wife, Holly of Toney, Alabama, Paula Kerry and husband, Dan of Carriere, Mississippi, Anita Kingree and husband, Daniel of Poplar Bluff; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Freddie Cecil of Broseley and Dean Cecil and wife, Brenda of Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Rhonda Kay Cecil; four sisters, Bernice Cecil, Marie Cecil, Billie Dove Cecil and Annie Mae Cecil; four brothers, John Claude Flowers, Lawrence Flowers, Jimmie Cecil and Jessie Cecil.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Crosspointe Family Church in Campbell, with funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. with Reverend Randy Vaughn officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell will be in charge of the arrangements.
