Poplar Bluff ~ Neda Gail Swiney, 70 of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Neda, daughter of Geroge Vaughn and Gladys Virginia Baker Swiney, was born on Friday, October 29, 1954 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

She was a Literate/English Teacher, having taught Jr. High and Middle School.  She loved to travel, traveling to all 50 states with her mother, 5 continents and 62 countries. She was an avid reader, loved to watch BBC Show (British Brocading Company) and was an avid Cardinal Fan.

Her survivors include several cousins and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, brother, Rex Dale Swiney and her soul mate of 36 years, Larry Anderson.

No services are planned.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
