Campbell ~ Myra Agnes Proffer, 68 of Campbell, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at her residence in Campbell, Missouri.

Myra, daughter of Leroy Thomas Finder and Joyce Elaine Thrasher Todd, was born on Tuesday, December 14, 1954 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

She was a professional tax account and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Malden.

On March 29, 1971 in Glennonville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Terry Lee Proffer.  He preceded her in death on May 10, 2021.

Survivors include her mother, Joyce Todd of Campbell; son, Tony Proffer of Campbell; sister, Janie Selman of St. Louis; brother, James Finder of Campbell; niece, Rhinna Selman of St. Louis; aunt, Glenda Spicer of Piggott and uncle, Ambress Thrasher, Jr. of Arlington, Texas; sisters-in-law, Linda Moore of Campbell; Brenda James of Lexington, Tennessee and brother-in-law, Bucky Proffer of Malden.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Finder; son, Ryan Proffer; sisters, Aleta Finder and Christina Finder; infant sister, Felina Finder; grandparents; Myra and Ambress Thrasher and Jerry and Cicero Finder; niece, Rachel Selman and aunt, Loretta Cartee.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at St. Teresa Cemetery in Glennonville, with Father Victor Anokwute officiating. Burial will follow.

Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Campbell are in charge of the arrangements.
