Morris Dean "Pete" Ellsworth, Jr. of Dexter, formerly of Malden, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 56 years, 6 months, and 9 days.
Pete was born on Monday, February 27, 1967 to Morris Dean Ellsworth, Sr. and Joyce Akridge Ellsworth in Chicago, Illinois. He was a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. Pete enjoyed his dogs and goats. He also loved fishing and hunting.
On December 15, 2019, he was united in marriage to Angela Marie Ellis Ellsworth in Bloomfield, Missouri. She survives of the home in Dexter.
Other survivors include his mother, Joyce Ellsworth of Malden; daughter, Kaleigh Pulliam and husband Adam of Malden; three sons, Kalop Morgan of Risco, Dalton Ellsworth and wife Veronnieca of Gideon, Peyton Ellsworth of Neelyville; stepson, Tony Ellis of Advance, sister, Tammy Garrison and husband Lee of Malden; five grandchildren, Hayden Pulliam, Hali Pulliam, Tucker Pulliam, Carter Morgan, and Hadley Ellsworth; step granddaughter, Liberty Ellis; and nephew, Ty Garrison and Cortney Watson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Dean Ellsworth, Sr.
Visitation will begin at 12 PM Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden.
The funeral service will follow Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2 PM at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Mr. Randy Moore officiating.
Interment will be in Rosewood 1st Addition Cemetery in Malden. Landess Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
